An outstanding racehorse, Southern Image is a triple Group 1 winner in
the United States, his oldest progeny are now two year-olds. Southern
Image is from the same sire line as top producer More Than Ready.
This colt is from the Night Shift (Northern Dancer) mare Autumn Night,
who has already produced the brilliant Randwick 2yo winner
Nightofthegeneral.
This colt will be prepared by astute young Gold Coast trainer TREVOR BAILEY,
who is proven at the international level.
He is broken in and will commence his first preparation with Trevor
Bailey in January 2010.
A must to inspect - this colt is a striking individual with size, scope
and quality, and made much in the image of his father.

SOUTHERN IMAGE
(USA) (by Halo's Image). Has shuttled from the US to Widden Stud from
Taylor Made Farms, Kentucky.
A brilliant racehorse, Southern Image won three times at Grade 1 level
in the US at distances between 1400m-2000m.
Southern Image became only the third horse behind the great Seabiscuit
and Farma Way to record wins in the Gr1 Pimlico Special and the Gr 1
Santa Anita Hcp.
A winner at two, three and four, Southern Image is an imposing
individual with a great deal of scope and guality.
In America, his first crop have created a good impression with 12 first
crop winners. They include Hollywood Park record breaker Southern
Fireball, as well as stakes horses Privaleged, Best Be Quick and Winning
Image.
In Australia, like this colt, his oldest progeny are just two year-olds.

AUTUMN NIGHT
(by Night Shift). Autumn Night has already prodcuced the brilliant
Randwick two year-old winner NIGHTOFTHEGENERAL, a 4.5 len winner on the
Kensington track for Gai Waterhouse. He was narrowly defeated at his
only other start at Rosehill in Saturday grade at two.
Autumn Night's family is a robust mix of New Zealand and European
influences. These influences are predominately of a middle distance mix,
with some elements of speed also evident.

TREVOR BAILEY
(Gold Coast, QLD) Trevor Bailey is a highly credentialed young trainer.
Trevor gained extensive experience alongside his champion premiership
and Group 1 winning trainer father Alan Bailey, and headed up the
families Caulfield (Victoria) stable, which produced a host of stakes
winners over a three year period. Trevor then branched out on his own to
enjoy Group 1 success in Singapore, before returning to the Gold Coast
where he has enjoyed immediate success.
